Divisional strategy demanded significant increases in speed-to-market for both commercial and development products, resulting in significant lead time and capacity challenges for the Swiss laboratory network in Basel and Kaiseraugst. Directed twelve laboratory teams (small molecule and biologics) with a €3m budget to scope, develop and implement laboratory operations solutions and associated organisation structures. Mobilised three project teams to identify, quantify and exploit opportunities to reduce laboratory lead times and throughput capabilities.
